Rifugi per una Catastrofe, concorso fotografico

We have joined forces with DROME magazine for a very special competition. Ever had the feeling of needing to hide and find shelter? Show us your favorite hiding spot for a chance to win some awesome prizes! Read after the jump for more details on the competition.

Many of us have been lucky to never have to take refuge in the face of imminent danger, but if you did have to, where would you go? Where is the secret place – real or ideal – where you would feel safest and where you usually find a greater sense of security? Where would you be hidden in the proximity of a – natural or man-made- catastrophe?

Share your secret shelter with DROME, the Italian cosmopolitan magazine that deals with the contemporary world of art and culture. Join the “Shelter from a Catastrophe” competition, read on for more on the rules and the awesome prizes.

Rules

• Film/Camera Type: Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated.
• Upload Limit: 3 Photos
• Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height
• Meta data must be filled out (camera, film, location & 3 tags)

Prizes

Lomography will select the top 5 photos, which will be awarded 15 Piggy Points each! DROME will then select 3 Grand Prize Winners that receive:

• a Lomography Fisheye No. 2
• their winning shot in DROME’s #20 issue
• 2 Copies of the Magazine issue
• an annual subscritpion to DROME!

DROME magazine e LOMOGRAPHY ITALIA lanciano il Concorso Fotografico dal tema: “Rifugi per una Catastrofe”. Il Concorso è legato a DROME 20 (Autunno 2011) - the Catastrophe issue e i tre migliori scatti verranno pubblicati proprio nel numero dedicato al tema della catastrofe. L'iniziativa segue la fortunata competition “OUTLAW - Shot in the Dark”, che ha visto oltre 600 partecipazioni provenienti da tutto il mondo, promossa nel 2009 da DROME e LOMOGRAPHY e il cui tema era l'illegal art. I partecipanti alla nuova competition sono invece invitati a proporre il loro rifugio in caso di pericolo: un luogo segreto - ideale o reale -, in cui sentirsi più sicuri e trovare protezione in prossimità di un’intima o naturale catastrofe.

Dal 2 Maggio al 16 Luglio 2011 è possibile partecipare gratuitamente e con qualsiasi macchina fotografica analogica.

Ogni partecipante potrà caricare fino a 3 foto sul sito di LOMOGRAPHY ITALIA  e le 5 foto più votate dagli utenti on-line riceveranno 15 Piggies in omaggio*.
Entro il 31 Luglio 2011, la redazione di DROME magazine decreterà i 3 vincitori, che verranno premiati con una macchina fotografica LOMO - modello Fisheye #2; la pubblicazione delle loro foto su DROME 20 - the Catastrophe issue; 2 copie del magazine in cui appariranno le suddette immagini; l’attivazione di un abbonamento annuale a DROME.
